Each session, there are hundreds of bills introduced in Hartford, and you would not believe some of the ideas that extreme members of the legislature dream up.

Decriminalizing the possession of hallucinogenic mushrooms? Giving illegal immigrants taxpayer-funded health insurance? Mandating that you drive an electric vehicle? Stopping landlords from evicting people? Erasing women and mothers from state statutes?

HARTFORD, CT – Senate Republican Leader Stephen Harding, House Republican Leader Vincent Candelora, State Representative Gale Mastrofrancesco and Senator Rob Sampson, ranking members of the Government Administration and Elections Committee, issued a statement Friday in response to new allegations revealed by Secretary of the State Stephanie Thomas.

Thomas has made new referrals to the State Elections Enforcement Commission in connection with the February 2024 Mayoral General Election redo in Bridgeport.

WOLCOTT – Rep. Gale Mastrofrancesco, R-Wolcott, recently visited Wakelee Elementary School where she served as a guest reader for Read Across America week.
